The AI Masterclass for Media is a signature initiative by the Sri Lanka–India Media Friendship Association (SLIMFA), designed to empower journalists, editors, and media professionals with the knowledge and skills to navigate the rapidly evolving world of Artificial Intelligence in journalism.
As part of SLIMFA’s ongoing mission to strengthen media collaboration and promote innovation, this workshop provides a unique opportunity to explore how AI technologies are transforming newsrooms, content creation, and audience engagement. Participants will gain practical insights into the ethical, editorial, and creative dimensions of AI-driven media practices.
Led by Mr. Shailesh Shekhar, Chief Synergy Officer of India Today Network, this intensive half-day session will combine expert-led discussions with real-world examples of AI applications in the media industry.
